Cut the Fat or Something Like That

I came up with the saying Cut the Fat or Something Like That, after reading many of my own posts from the past.

Some of my earlier work lacks focus. I went off on tangents. Many of these tangents were worthwhile points, but they did not match the rest of the post.

My mind is very active thanks to many blessings. Thoughts and ideas flow out of me, but that does not mean I have to share every single one right this second.

I believe everyone would be better off if we cut the fat or something like that while communicating.

Ask yourself what is the purpose of this communication?

When you come up with the answer to your question, strive to make everything you discuss, fit the premise.

I constantly ask myself does this point match the title?

While writing this piece I had an idea to discuss how some people have no idea how to cut the fat, and how we need to show them compassion while gently showing them the error of their ways.

I could have easily gone off on an extensive tangent, but I decided the example fit the title, but not an in depth discussion. I just cut the fat or something like that.

Asking questions is a beautiful, transcendent, experience, and making sure the answers fit the questions leads to a clearer, happier life.

I think sometimes people are starving for an opportunity to speak. I suggest we answer each question with the best solution available realizing that the longest answer is not always optimum.

It’s okay to cut the fat or something like that, because we live in a world of abundance where the possibilities are limitless.

Food for thought

Thanks for reading

Chris
