Win at Living, Not Just Racing

Brain Poppings from the Pixar Movie Cars

The movie Cars teaches many great lessons including the title of this piece.

Here are some of my thoughts:

Teamwork is extremely important.  Always try to make your team better.

Sometimes you need to rest.

You never know when your enviroment is going to change.

Be open to new skills a.k.a. parts.

Make sure to fix the road, not just finish the job.

It’s way more important to know the road then to just go fast

Realize rusty cars can be cool too.

Rise the bar and the right people will match it.

Change your life if you never feel happy.  You don’t always have to explain it in words.  If the scenery calls you, stay.

Speed isn’t everything.  “People didn’t drive on the road to make good time.  They drove on the road to have a good time.”

Thanks for reading

Chris
