Lets Own Transition!

The game of wheelchair rugby has taught me many lessons about life. In wheelchair rugby, like many other sports, there are three components to the game, offense, defense, and transition.

When I am off the court I try to play as little defense as I can. I want to focus on making myself better at all times. Sometimes there can be long gaps between life’s big offensive plays to a better future. Therefore in life, just like rugby, transition becomes the most vital part of the game.

There are no sexy statistics to transition. It’s what happens in between the whistles and it’s the moments where the crowd can turn their heads, but we must decide to become a kings and queens of transition!

Preparation for dreams is the key ingredient for seeing them turn into reality.

It only takes the exchanging of two letters for a stoplight to become a spotlight. Let’s be ready when the spotlight shines on us!

Thanks for reading

Chris
